International Career Development Conference
Atlanta, Georgia

2008

The International Career Development Conference is the "Big Show" for DECA members. It is what each student sets his or her sites on reaching when the year begins. Students are given an experience of a lifetime right from the start with the always-amazing Opening Ceremony to the finish with the climactic Closing Awards Session. With competition being the most elite that DECA has to offer, the ICDC gives members an opportunity to meet the competition they will be facing someday in the real world. As DECA members are faced with real life situations, it becomes apparent that each member is representing the “cream of the crop” from their own state. Every year the ICDC seems to become more powerful and more magical. Make sure to set your goals high and you’ll see 13,000 fellow DECA members in the conference city.
